About Nanuet, NY - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Nanuet is a census designated place and hamlet located in the town of Clarkstown. This Rockland County community is located just north of Pearl River between West Nyack and Spring Valley. It is also located at the midpoint between Bear Mountain and Manhattan – approximately 19 miles from each. Nearly 18,000 people reside in the community, which is also located only about two miles of the New Jersey border.

Nanuet has been ranked as one of the 100 Best Places to Live by CNN Money due to its inexpensive housing, recreational opportunities, and shopping. One of the most popular attractions in the community is known as the Shops at Nanuet, which is an outdoor shopping mall that has nearly 60 stores including the anchors of Sears and Macy’s. Other notable attractions and areas of interest in the community include Rockland Bakery, Monster Mini Golf, Regal Cinemark Nanuet, and the Rockland Skincare Spa.

Residents of Nanuet usually invest in both home cooling and heating systems in order to remain comfortable throughout the year. In the summer months, temperatures tend to reach the low- to mid-80s on average, but there are several days each month in which high temperatures exceed 90 degrees. When these extreme temperatures move into the area and combine with the humidity, residents tend to seek shelter indoors, so a reliable air conditioning unit will be crucial for staying cool and safe when the most dangerous conditions arrive.

Extreme weather is also common during the winter, and average high temperatures in January only reach the mid-30s. The season experiences about three or four feet of snowfall each year, and when combined with frigid temperatures, it is crucial that residents ensure that their heat pumps or furnace systems are properly serviced to prepare for the unexpected. A seasoned HVAC technician is a valuable asset to make sure these systems are working at optimal efficiency.
