About New City, NY - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

New City is a hamlet located in Clarkstown in Rockland County, and it is part of the New York Metro Area. It is an affluent suburb of New York City and is located just north of Riverdale, Bronx. Within Rockland County, this community is also situated just north of Bardonia and is found in between Lake Deforest and New Square. With about 33,600 residents, New City is the largest community in the county by population and also serves as the county seat. Notable residents of the community have included actors Skylar Astin and Hayden Panettiere.

There are a variety of attractions located in the New City area. The Jacob Blauvelt Farmhouse is located here, and it features a museum, nature trail, and herb garden. Shopping destinations include Bassett Flowers and Gifts, New City Cycleworld, and Mayuri’s Floral Design. Visitors looking for some rest and relaxation might like to book a service with Z Spa or the Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa or taking a yoga class at Sanctuary Yoga Studios or Body & Brain New City. Popular restaurants in New City also include Sazone House of the Tapas and Michael’s on Main.

Residents of New City usually invest in both home cooling and heating systems, as both will be useful at different points in the year. Summers in the community are warm to hot with high humidity, and since the temperatures average in the mid-80s for July highs, having a cool place to beat the heat is important. Central air conditioning – especially in the form of an energy-efficient unit – can keep summer utility costs down. Winter temperatures almost always fall below the freezing point overnight, so choosing a new furnace or heat pump can prove to be an important investment for comfort, safety, and utility costs throughout the season.
